The first hand form is Siu Lim Tau and is taught in sections of thirds. Once the student gets a basic understanding of SLT, he moves into session drills designed for the beginning student to apply SLT principles with a partner. The second hand form is Chum Kiu. Here the student gets to start using footwork combined with their hand training from SLT. The third form, Biu Gee, is the last hand form, and held for the most dedicated student to learn. This form translates to thrusting fingers and can be very dangerous if not practiced or taught by a qualified instructor. Along the path of training the student gets to work on the Mook Yong Jong and the Mui Fa Jong which work on conditioning and balance training. The two weapons forms are saved for the last part of the training and are for level instructors only. Wing Chun has Three empty hand forms: (Siu Lim Tao, Chum Kiu, Biu Gee)Two weapon forms:(9 ft. pole-Look Dim Boon Kwan & knives-Bot Chum Do) One Wooden Dummy set: (Mook Yong Jong). In any combat, contact is inevitable. Through the practice of sticky hand training (or Chi Sau) the Wing Chun practitioner can respond, through reflexes, at the moment he feels the attack is being made.

Wing Chun is a soft style and does not rely on superior strength to over power their opponent. Wing Chun is based on natural and scientific laws that show how to execute and overcome force in the most efficient way. This makes Wing Chun a good means of self-defense for both men and women, young and old.
Wing Chung Kung Fu is a traditional Chinese fighting art that was created over 300 years ago in the legendary Shaolin Temple. The late Grand Master Ip Man was responsible for introducing Wing Chun to the general public. Ip Man's most famous student, Bruce Lee, used Wing Chun as his foundation for his system of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). The system is incredibly powerful and simple to learn. It is simplicity, economy of movement, and sensitivity working around natural physical principles, such as: using direct attacks against an opponent's body mass. By using these principles over just techniques the Wing Chun student can take his opponents balance away using redirection of force. Building around these fighting principles, the student can flow from one technique to another, so they are not bound to move in set patterns.
